Prayer to Saint Paul the Apostle

Mike Perez puts the ball in Marco's court. Marco meets his maker in a size XXL.

Mike serves as Marco stands ready. (Marco's version: mike serves, marco flip kills for a winner)

Marco pushes. (Marco's version: marco pushes, mike does a lame open up, marco kills it off the bounce for a winner...again)

Mike adds some sidespin.

Perez prepares the finish.

once again you don't video me when I'm playing good. Oh well, results were actually mediocre, I was really hot in the morning but cooled off in the afternoon. Lost to Robert Bryant Jr 2 deuces in the 6th, he served an edge ball on the final point, oh well. My match against Mike Perez (1975 player from California) had some of the best shot-making I've ever done in my life. He's a lefty, he served short to my backhand and I pushed out to his forehand very deep. He opened up and I counterloop killed it off the bounce for a winner several times. He also did some lefty serves wide out to my forehand, one of them I ripped around the net and up the line for a winner. That ball was off the table for nearly the entire flight path, at the last second touching the corner white line. I also had some forehand flip kills that you had to see to believe. I can't remember the last time I was so hot. First 2 games were 11-9, but last 2 were like 11-3. Too bad it didn't last into the next match. LOL. Looking forward to San Diego. Marco |

Prayer to Saint Paul the ApostleO Glorious Saint Paul, after persecuting the Church you became by God's grace its most zealous Apostle. To carry the knowledge of Jesus, our divine Savior, to the uttermost parts of the earth you joyfully endured prison, scourgings, stonings, and shipwreck, as well as all manner of persecutions culminating in the shedding of the last drop of your blood for our Lord Jesus Christ. |

noooooo dude, you've got the captions all wrong. You wrote "mike serves, marco pushes, mike prepares to finish." That's not it at all. More like "mike serves, marco flip kills for a winner" or "marco pushes, mike does a lame open up, marco kills it off the bounce for a winner...again" LOL Marco http://forums.delphiforums.com/usatt/messages?msg=1111.6

> noooooo dude, you've got the captions all wrong. Well, I thought of the title before I knew you won. I guess "Marco meets his maker" could mean Mike made you a better player. I've added the suggested changes. --Rob |
