This is hilarious.  Great job with the photo-editing.  I can really picture a pro-wrestling type of match between the 2 of you.  Maybe you guys can do a "half-time show" at the next US Open, maybe in between the Semi-finals or something. 

What say you Alan?  It's all about getting on TV right?

If you want a serious answer to your question, you should write the people in control of those arenas and venues. I'd email Dana and Doru at HQ.

My personal opinion is that it wouldn't do much for the sport to stage it at that time and place. It would be better at a local mall, in the days prior to thehall opening, with each contestant willing to play member of the public for a $5 loser player pays donation to the Red Cross. When the walkups realize that they can't beat midpack customed USATT members, maybe they'll buy tickets to see people actually contest the championships.

Very nice.  Seriously, I like it. 

We have a couple of guys dressed in crazy outfits at the mall taking challengers.  Obviously, none of them will beat Rob who is capable of 1900 level play, or Jim McQueen who is capable I believe of 2100 level play. 

But, this should take place 1 or 2 days before a big event like a US Open or Nationals.  I'm assuming that's what you meant. 

So people see these guys, and at the same time advertising is in place for the big 5star. 

Great idea.
