So far Gia hasn't played very smart. The game he won, he became a lot more patient, the next game he tried, but got to aggressive and blew it. Gia tries to do to much with his serve, missed to many with his serve, and put the serve in bad places a lot of times. If you go long, not deep, but long to his backhand, he will punch it and Gia couldn't handle it. Also, I believe you can only beat Panno two ways. You either have to be able to loop from both sides, backhand and forhand, or you must have some great footwork to loop all forhand. Or play like Simon. Gia in the game he won started using his backhand more, but in the next game started to try to turn around the corner to much again. Since I heard he won, but have no idea how, my prediction will be that he started using his backhand more, and stayed patient with pushes until he gets the one he likes. I can't seem him winning any other way.

Ya I watched it. When I posted before it was after game 4. Gia definitely used his backhand more, didn't miss any serves, maybe one or two at most. However, the last couple games looked like Panno stopped playing his game. Gia seemed to have his way with him towards the end. Panno wasn't hitting his angles and to the middle dead as much, he basically went to a push and block, not counter, mode. Gia played well and deserves to win. Just be aware, the Winksta is here.
