Lawyers' film picked

for Portland fest

"The Little White Ball" will be bouncing all the way to Portland, Ore., this spring.

The short film from local Jikes! Films - a mockumentary about two professional table tennis players from Lebanon [Ohio] has been accepted by Portland's 2006 Faux Film Festival March 30-April 2.

Jikes! Films comprises three local attorneys - Jeffrey Miller of Covington, Michael Rich of Pleasant Ridge and Michael Bronson of Lebanon. The first-time filmmakers previously hosted an "Upright Citizens' Brigade"-style sketch comedy show (also called "Jikes!") on Northern Kentucky's Insight Cable.
