> Errrrr, is this a tour of ugly houses?

I thought some of them were interesting.

When I first drove down the street taking photos, I heard a loud bang which made me jump and fling the camera in the air.  I wasn't sure if it was a gunshot or someone popping a bag.

Later an old man that was sitting outside waved at me and asked if I was taking pictures and I waved and continued down the dead end street.  When I turned around and tried to drive out I saw him walking down the narrow road.  I veered one way and he block the path and when I went the other way, he stepped in front of the car.  I stuck my head out of the window and drove up next to him as he said, "Pictures, pictures..." and then I drove off not knowing exactly what he wanted.  It felt like a scene from a horror film.

If you're going to hang in that part of town, maybe you need to consider doing so in pairs - of five or so.

Are you bored? Why would you go to this area to photograph these houses?

Do you think that run down houses with crap in the yard is interesting?  Hummmm, I'm worried you might be dehydrated and hallucinating.

I'm not the type to get bored.  I drive past the block frequently and find unique things interesting.  I thought a few of the houses were unique as well as the neighborhood.

Wow, you must've been down close to the Salt, maybe?  Some of those homes look like the old motor inns from the 40's & 50's.  Several should be sent in to Jeff Foxworthy's Blue Collar Comedy show for their Red-Neck yard contest.

Perhaps I was close to the Salt of the Earth.

I was wondering where all the Berettas went:

It looks like it has current tags.

I couldn't tell on the Gremlin:

though it doesn't look like it's in as good of shape.

The guy in this yard:

is the fellow who jumped in front of my car kind of like the Chinese student who laid down in front of the tank in Tiananmen Square

In a fit of total brilliance, the cops bought 'em so the gangs would have plenty of money to buy those nifty, new machine pistols.
